Education Subcommittee
News and Information
The Education subcommittee meets regularly with the District Leadership Team to ensure that any scenarios for a change in school consolidation or grade configuration is educationally, socially, and emotionally appropriate. Any proposed changes will be driven first and foremost by sound educational reasons and the best interests of the students, family, and larger community. We believe change offers the opportunity for wide-ranging educational enrichment.
In August, the BEST and the District Leadership Teams led an info and feedback session for K-7 educators. Each educator discussed each scenario, rotating through stations. Their comments were transcribed verbatim and are available for review.
